R’BONNEY GABRIEL EXPLORES BOHOL, EATS KALAMAY FOR THE FIRST TIME

R’Bonney Gabriel is making her stay in the Philippines worthwhile by exploring new places and trying various local delicacies.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2022 shared photos taken during her recent visit to Bohol.

Aside from her summer-friendly resort wear, the beauty queen shared a clip of her first-time experience breaking open a Kalamay from its coconut shell.

Kalamay is a sweet and sticky delicacy popular in Bohol. It’s made of coconut milk, brown sugar, and ground glutinous rice set inside coconut shells.

“Hurry, let’s go catch golden hour, then go eat [kalamay],” R’Bonney said in the caption.

The beauty queen interacted with a couple of netizens who left comments, saying she was extending her stay to a netizen who expressed her jealousy at R'Bonney's vacation. She confirmed the kalamay was delicious after another told her "masarap yan calamay."

R’Bonney returned to the Philippines last week and immediately experienced the brutal summer heat

It will be a longer stay for R'Bonney, as she has several modelling, hosting, and guesting commitments to fulfill.

She recently guested at “TiktoClock” and participated in a game.

R’Bonney is the first Filipino-American Miss Universe. Aside from being a beauty queen, she is also a sustainable fashion designer.
